Educator Workshops
The Henry Gallery Education Department offers workshops designed exclusively for teachers and educators of all disciplines to learn more about new exhibitions and how the art can be infused into the curriculum. Participants discover how to talk about contemporary art with their students, learn how to lead discussion based tours of the Henry’s exhibitions and how to teach art-based lessons back in the classroom. The workshops include interactive tours of the current exhibitions, gallery activities and lessons and classroom-ready curriculum materials.

Free Curriculum Consultations
Need advice on how to make art a vital part of your school day? Henry Education Staff are available to talk to teachers about the exhibitions in advance so that curriculum connections can be made. Most exhibitions offer free interpretive materials for teachers that can be used back in the classroom.
Email the Henry’s Museum Education Manager at
to set up a one-on-one curriculum consultation. Or, gather together your colleagues and arrange for a special curriculum planning session with an Education Staff member at the Henry.
