This exhibition comprised a selection of recently acquired works of contemporary art in a variety of media. Richard Long’s “Puget Sound Driftwood” (1996) was featured along with recent gifts of important work by noted contemporary artists. Selections from recent acquisitions included “Hysteria” (1997) by Sam Taylor-Wood (shown from March 24 to April 23), “Anthem” (1983) by Bill Viola [April 28 – May 28), and “Middletown” (1997) by Nic Nicosia (June 2 – June 25).
