This exhibition, gathered from the Henry’s collection and loans from local and West Coast collectors, highlighted works from Bay area figurative artists Richard Diebenkorn, David Park, Elmer Bischoff, Paul Wonner, Joan Brown, Manuel Neri, and Nathan Oliveira. These artists exchanged ideas, provided support and created a distinct genre of work that reflected their environment. This selection focused on the period between 1955 and 1968 and included paintings of landscapes, interiors, figures and still lifes as well as drawings, prints and sketchbooks.
