February 18, 2010 – May 18, 2010
The Henry Art Gallery presented a new acquisition of two photographs by Canadian photographer Edward Burtynsky. Burtynsky is known for his large-scale photographs of the environment, indelibly marked by human intervention. In each of his projects Burtynsky investigates one region and its industry, revealing the environmental impacts of globalization and man’s extreme quest for natural resources.
