ArtVENTURES (formerly Family Sundays) encourage adults and children to play, learn, and create together. Each program, inspired by art on view, focuses on different activities and new ways of thinking about art. ArtVENTURES are best suited for elementary-aged children, but we encourage older or younger kids to join in on the fun!

Haegue Yang creates art by using everyday objects and is also known to incorporate non-visual elements such as sound in her work. Join us as we draw inspiration from the artist’s Towers on String and then create musical instruments out of unexpected things.

Educational public programs at the Henry are generously supported by the 4Culture/King County Lodging Tax Fund, the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, ArtsFund, The Boeing Company, and the City of Seattle Office of Arts & Culture.
