Colleen Woolpert is an artist currently based in Seattle. Using photography, video, installation, and performance, her work explores perception and its relationship to trust. As an identical twin, she often references the formation and performance of the self, as well as the uncanny. In 2011, Colleen received her Master of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University. She is the recipient of an Emerging Artist of Central New York award from the Rothenberg Family Foundation and a public art commission for the City of Syracuse. Her work has been exhibited in Seattle, New York, Chicago, and in many other US cities, as well as published in the New York Times, Martha Stewart Weddings, and Bicycling, among others.
