Explore the motion behind the picture with an animation workshop led by local filmmaker and teaching artist Tess Martin following the Saturday screening of William Kentridge: Anything is Possible. Learn some of the techniques behind the visual wonderment of stop motion and modified base to create your own films. To register for this workshop please fill out the form below.

Tess Martin a Seattle based teaching artist, animator, and member of SEAT, Seattle Experimental Animation Team, a group of artists intent on expanding awareness of alternative or non-mainstream animation. She recently returned from teaching video workshops in Ghana and has continued to teach in a variety of locations throughout the Northwest including the Bainbridge Island Television Animation Camp and Reel Grrls.
