This Fall, Open Satellite hosts a new large-scale installation by Los Angeles-based artist Primitivo Suarez-Wolfe. Trained in art (UCLA) and architecture (SCI-Arc), Suarez-Wolfe blurs distinctions between sculpture and architecture creating unbelievably ambitious objects. This latest work continues his experimentation in residential architecture, exploring the definition of intimacy in a domestic space. Suarez-Wolfe was selected for residency by former Seattle Art Museum curator of modern and contemporary art, Michael Darling, who recently became Chief Curator of Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.

Special thanks to City Arts Online for their generous support for Open Satellite lectures at the Henry.

This lecture is presented by Open Satellite, a contemporary art exhibition hall and residency-based program for the Seattle and Bellevue metropolitan area.
