The Henry and Artist Trust present an evening of resources and opportunities for emerging artists. From information about gaining visibility for your work, to funding possibilities, to a chance to share your work with local curators – this will be an inspiring, informative evening!
From 7 until 8, Miguel Guillen, Program Manager for Artist Trust, will discuss essentials of preparing your marketing materials for real-world and cyber world success. This will include brief overviews of finding funding and opportunities, developing an online strategy, and other resources available to artists. Miguel will also present information about Artist Trust’s grant and professional development programs.
From 8 to 9PM, Attendees areinvited to participate inportfolio review “Speed Dates” with Henry curators Sara Krajewski and Elizabeth Brown, Open Satellite Director Yoko Ott, and Kirkland Arts Center Exhibitions Director Cable Griffith. Artists, you are invited to bring a laptop, paper, or questions and sit down (first come, first served) for ten minutes with one of these curators to talk about your work.
