“Basically, art is just a way to think,” says Smith in her Art:21 segment. “ It’s like standing in the wind and letting it pull you in whatever direction it wants to go.”

Kiki Smith has produced a myriad of works in media such as sculpture, prints, and installations. I Myself Have Seen It: Photography and Kiki Smith explores a number of distinct ways photographs play a central role in Smith’s aesthetic and the creation of her art. Join Henry Chief Curator Elizabeth Brown and acclaimed artist Kiki Smith for a special lecture inaugurating this new Henry exhibition.
